Hi Wei, I just joined. Looking at your recipes and got interested in Easy Peking Duck. Just wondering if I can substitute chicken instead? Please advise if there are any revisions to the recipe that I need to be aware of. Thank you.
Hi Elizabeth! I haven’t tested this recipe with chicken but I think it works as long as you adjust the cooking time since chicken is usually much smaller. Also, you might be interested in my whole chicken recipes, such as Five Spice Roast Chicken, Smoked Chicken.
I made Peking Duck using your recipe. Wow! A great recipe. Everyone one in the family love it. The duck tasted yummy but it was hard work for amateur like me. I will make the duck again using your recipe

I have made several of Wei’s recipes and loved each one. I want to try the hot and sour soup next. That is my favorite soup to order at any Chinese restaurant. Next may be the Ma Po Tofu. The picture is so beautiful a delicious looking…mmmm!
