We made this according to the instructions (though without the optional peppercorns) to add to a Poke Bowl. The spice and flavor were great!

You’ll for sure slowly get used to the wonderful taste of Sichuan Pepper.

Tonight I was brave enough to add the pinch of Sichuan peppercorns! They provided only a gentle tongue-numbing effect. This recipe takes as little time as is promised in the recipe. And the bite and flavour are lovely.

Mine get so many, the sprouts look ugly hairy.

Hello Wei
I’ve made Stir-fried Mung Bean Sprouts for the second time this week. No special occasion – just for us!
As long as I can master producing my own this recipe will remain a regular! I’ve learnt how many red chili seeds to include for our tastes 🙂

I paired the scallion oil chicken with your Mung bean stir fry! Great pairing!
Served with steamed brown rice.
We are into the lunar new year here but this was just a rare dinner with my grandkids!

It’s simply because they don’t offer a pleasant mouthfeel. Please feel free to keep them if you wish.

You can pair it with any dishes containing protein, such as chicken, beef, pork, fish & seafood, egg & tofu. Happy cooking!
