You could definitely air fry the steamed duck with a light coating of oil instead of deep frying it, but do keep in mind that the texture will be quite different. The skin might not turn out as crispy as traditional deep frying. Since I haven’t tested it myself, I can’t provide precise instructions, but you could try air frying at around 200°C (400°F) for 8-12 minutes, checking frequently to ensure it doesn’t overcook. If you give it a go, I’d love to hear how it turns out!
