So happy to know you’ve been cooking this recipe for two years, Ginger! Yes, there are many ways to improvise with other fillings and sauces.

Thanks for this recipe; I’ve made it regularly for a couple years now! Jian bing was my go to breakfast when I lived in China, and I love making a reasonable facsimile at home. Most times I use the wonton strips, like people put on salads, and a mixture of a bit of gochujang and dark soy sauce. Not traditional but yummy. Thanks for all the helpful technique instructions

Really good! I had condiments you mentioned but I made wanting wrappers myself and was glad I made mor, so addictive! I wander why you sticker twonwrappwrs together. For make them thicker? I also made little modification in few of them: I added slice of crispy bacon! 😀 Mix of Chinese and English breakfast 😉

These were great! I lived in Beijing for a couple of years and had a craving for jianbing last week. I’m so excited I can now eat these at home. Had to order mung bean flour from a specialty store, but it’s nice to have it in my pantry now. I also had to turn my stovetop up to medium. And I sprayed the pan down with cooking spray but then wiped off excess so the batter wouldn’t be goopy.

Yes you can. But be aware that wonton crackers lose its crispiness easily. If it happens, heat them in the oven for a while to regain the texture.
